Mojito Bio BM

Mojito Bio is SCARPA's first 100% biodegradable product. The modification of the materials in the shoes makes them easier to be broken down by bacteria and other natural microorganisms.

Intertek's Green Leaf certification shows that after 45 days under controlled conditions (according to the ASTM D5511 standard), the proportion of biodegradation of the sole, tread and the upper part is already between 6-8%.

Technical functions:

Presa® Sole is made of two components. Biodegradable EVA midsole with medium density for maximum stability on the foot. The outsole is made of a biodegradable mixture that includes natural rubber. The rubber has an excellent grip and a durability comparable to synthetic rubber.

Extended lacing all the way down to the toe of the shoe provides maximum fit and a comfortable fit.
